BIO: Elise Lakey is a Texas-based artist and writer. Previously, she was a senior poetry editor at Copper Nickel and taught at the University of Colorado Denver, Southeastern University, and the University of Alabama, where she received a Truman Capote Fellowship. Her work has appeared in the Black Warrior Review and the New Orleans Review.
