Been from coast to coast this year—from the beaches of California to the scraggly cliffs of Oregon, across the rolling hills of Tennessee, down to the desert of the Texas heartland and then at the edges of another border, there and back again
Something I wrote to myself over a decade ago: “Do we have to record that we’re living to remind ourselves that we have lived?” I often wonder if we would find more joy and mystery in the world without the constant obsession with
