This was a fun, surprise weaving I did for my friend’s nursery! Her newborn, Reverie, had a nursery theme of lavender and sage with neutrals and other jewel tones. I added dried eucalyptus, starflowers, and ribbon throughout the piece to match the whimsical nature of her room. The weaving almost has an “empire waistline” similar to the dresses of women in the 18th century, with a fun, wild bottom full of natural cotton rope.
